Here is a list of links that we have found helpful to the families we serve in our region. UNITE strives to help each parent that contact us with literature, group meetings and phone support. However, sometimes it is more comforting if support comes from closer to home. We have also included some links to sites that may help if you live outside the Philadelphia area.

The Center for Grieving Children, Teens, and Families
A non-profit organization offering grief support for families and children after a significant loss, previously located on the grounds of St. Christopher’s Hospital, The Center has moved its main site and office to:
Peter's Place
A Center for Grieving Children and Families formerly located in Berwyn, PA. As of September 2005, Peter's Place has moved to Radnor, PA. Provides grief support services to children and teens, ages 3 to 18 and young adults ages 19-25, who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives. Compassionate Friends

The Shrine of the Holy Innocents

LAMBs - Loss of all in Multiple Birth Support This site is for families experiencing the loss of all their babies in a multiple pregnancy -- offers online support.
CLIMB - Center for Loss in Multiple Birth Center for Loss in Multiple Support -- offers online support for those who have had the loss of one or more of their babies in a multiple pregnancy.

M.E.N.D. (Mommies Enduring Neonatal Death) is a Christian, non-profit organization that reaches out to families who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. They have a variety of support groups in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex—also have Chapters in NW Arkansas, Kansas, Nacogdoches, Houston, Texarkana, and Georgia.

The Hygeia Foundation is an international community offering compassion, empathy and support for families who have endured the tragedy of miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal/infant loss.
